Ideologies

Ideologies are the simple way to defend principles. An ideology constitutes a way of seeing the world, and a way of defending it.

But ideology tells you how you should see reality, who is your friend and who is your rival, what principles you should defend and what stories you should support, and it can be used to manipulate you and make you change your way of thinking.

Don't let your ideology dictate all your principles. Disagreeing is all right. Having your own opinion is healthy. Defend your principles above your ideology.
